چکیده
Multi-area load frequency control (LFC) selects and controls a few generators in each area of the power system an effort to dampen inter-area oscillations. To effectively such oscillations, it is required enhance lower activity dynamically during operation, so as adapt changing circumstances. Changing circumstances should cover not only parametric uncertainties unmodelled dynamics (e.g. aggregated bus dynamics), but also increasing structural flexibility modern systems protection mechanisms against faults cyber-attacks, or topology reconfiguration for demand response). As formal stability guarantees around attractive adaptive multi-area LFC concept are still lacking, this work proposes framework which adaptation switching combined provably stable way handle uncertainty, dynamics, dynamical interconnections system. Stability studied Lyapunov theory sense using standard structure-preserving modelling approach, resulting design validated IEEE 39-bus benchmark.

A New Class of Decentralized Interaction Estimators for Load Frequency Control in Multi-Area Power Systems
Load Frequency Control (LFC) has received considerable attention during last decades. This paper proposes a new method for designing decentralized interaction estimators for interconnected large-scale systems and utilizes it to multi-area power systems. For each local area, a local estimator is designed to estimate the interactions of this area using only the local output measurements. In fact,...
متن کاملProcess Interconnection Structures in Dynamically Changing Topologies
This paper presents a mechanism that organizes processes in the hierarchy and efficiently maintains it in the presence of addition/removal of nodes to the system, and in the presence of node failures. This mechanism can support total order of broadcasts and does not rely on any specific system features or special hardware. In addition, it can concurrently support multiple logical structures, su...

This paper considers the problem of information consensus among multiple agents in the presence of limited and unreliable information exchange with dynamically changing interaction topologies. Both discrete and continuous update schemes are proposed for consensus of information. That the union of a collection of interaction graphs across some time intervals has a spanning tree frequently enough...

A new Multi-Stage Fuzzy (MSF) controller based on Multi-objective Harmony Search Algorithm (MOHSA) is proposed in this paper to solve the Load Frequency Control (LFC) problem of power systems in deregulated environment. LFC problem are caused by load perturbations, which continuously disturb the normal operation of power system. The objectives of LFC are to mini small size the transient deviati...
